Neil Sedaka wrote the foreword to Michael Turner’s book, Charting the life of Gene Pitney. Michael is a big fan of Neil as well as of Gene. Since the start of the pandemic Michael has been following Neil Sedaka’s almost-daily mini-concerts on YouTube. Neil often sings songs which he hasn’t previously recorded or which he hasn’t sung for a long time. Among the songs there are sometimes also a mix of stories from his long career in music making.
